a few projects that I’ve launched:

I co-founded Camping to Connect, an experiential mentorship program that uses outdoor recreation and nature immersion to address the diverse issues faced by young men of color in America’s cities—from mental health to healthy masculinity. Led by and for people of color, we're elevating the narrative that the outdoors belong to everybody. I produced Wood Hood, an award-winning short documentary film about the program.

Shared Meals uses immersive technology called Portals to bring together diverse voices from around the world for transformative dialogues. By sharing a space and breaking bread together, Portals bring strangers together in a way that inspires empathy and a sense of shared humanity. I helped bring Portals to places like the 2022 Qatar World Cup and Starbucks’s HQ, and created a global Portal event, in partnership with Twitter, that connected 45 cities worldwide.

My public art project, RickshawNYC (IG: @RickshawNYC) is an authentic cycle rickshaw from Dhaka, Bangladesh hand-painted by one of the country’s last-remaining, dedicated rickshaw artists. In 2023, UNESCO inscribed "Rickshaws and Rickshaw painting in Dhaka" on its list of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
